Together, we sent a clear message that HUD staff, programs, and investments are critically needed to address our nation’s most pressing challenges.

Yesterday’s event underscored that NLIHC, our members and partners, impacted people, and congressional leaders will continue to lead the charge to protect the lowest-income and most marginalized people and the housing investments they rely on to remain stably housed. NLIHC is positioned to mobilize in opposition to policies that exacerbate our nation’s housing and homelessness crisis and support policies that will expand affordable housing for millions of Americans who live with the threat of housing insecurity.
We invite advocates to add your organization to a national sign-on letter to heighten the urgency of safeguarding HUD programs and staff.
We met this moment and will be relentless in protecting against any ongoing threats to key federal housing resources. Our fight is to end housing instability and homelessness, redress long-standing racial and social inequities, and advance housing justice. We’re grateful to be in this fight with each of you.
