A webinar on Tuesday, March 1 at 2:00pm ET will discuss solutions for helping formerly incarcerated people re-enter into their communities. The Homeless and Housing Resource Network (HHRN) of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is holding the webinar. SAMSHA is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
Three formerly incarcerated individuals will discuss the rehabilitation programs that they took advantage of during their incarceration and upon their release. They will talk about the challenges formerly incarcerated people face when re-entering their communities and solutions for meeting their needs. Webinar participants will have an opportunity to interact with the three presenters.
