Now Available: Resources from 3/4 “Tenant Talk Live”

NLIHC held a “Tenant Talk Meeting” on March 4 at which NLIHC staff presenters were joined by Ashia Wilson, manager of authentic engagement with the Michigan Coalition Against Homelessness (MCAH). Ashia discussed her personal experience with homelessness and explained how it has influenced her current advocacy work. She also offered strategies for agencies looking to establish more direct connections with the people they aim to support and shared ideas about how community members can participate in reciprocal engagement. The session provided an opportunity for participants to engage directly with Ashia by asking her questions about community-specific concerns. View a recording of the session here. (link to YouTube video when live). NLIHC’s next Tenant Talk Live meeting will be held on April 1 at 6 pm ET (5 pm CT, 4 pm MT, 3 pm PT) and will focus on legislative advocacy. Register for next month’s meeting here.

As always, don’t hesitate to reach out to Sid Betancourt at [email protected] if you have any questions or feedback.
