In the most recent “Tenant Talk Live” meeting on April 1, NLIHC staff were joined by Resident Action Project (RAP) member and NLIHC board member Mindy Woods. Mindy gave a presentation on the recent legislative session in Washington State, highlighting the collaborative efforts between RAP and the Washington Low Income Housing Alliance (WLIHA). Attendees learned about the significant role played by individual advocates in these efforts and how these strategies can be adapted and utilized by other tenant groups. View a recording of the session here. NLIHC’s next Tenant Talk Live will be held on May 6 at 6 pm ET.
