During this week’s “Tenant Talk Live” call, attendees learned from advocates in Oregon and Wisconsin about how to influence policy. Kevin Cronin of Housing Oregon spoke about how he has drawn on his personal experience of housing instability to fuel his advocacy work. Marlo Fields of the Wisconsin Community Action Program Association (WISCAP) discussed his experience leading WISCAP’s housing advocacy efforts. Both panelists shared their thoughts about the successes and challenges that come with policy work. The full webinar can be viewed here. The next webinar – which will focus on Section 9 (public housing) – will take place on May 1 at 6 pm ET. Register for the session here.
