This month’s “Tenant Talk Live” meeting featured a discussion about getting out the vote with Texas advocate Sharon Underwood and NLIHC’s Our Homes, Our Votes (OHOV) Project Manager Courtney Cooperman. Attendees learned about how to mobilize, register, and educate voters. Courtney shared information about NLIHC’s nonpartisan OHOV campaign, including methods of nonpartisan voter engagement, how to engage resident councils and other tenant groups, nonpartisan candidate engagement as a tenant or resident, and other resources available through NLIHC’s network. Access a recording of the meeting here. The next Tenant Talk Live meeting will be held on October 7 at 6 pm ET (5 pm CT, 4 pm MT, 3 pm PT).
