NLIHC will host a webinar on February 28 to help advocates plan for this year’s Capitol Hill Day! The webinar will feature staff from Housing Narrative Lab, who will share how advocates can incorporate their own stories and experiences into their advocacy to create powerful narratives that make the case for federal resources for affordable housing and homelessness programs. Register for the webinar today!
Held every year during NLIHC’s Housing Policy Forum, Capitol Hill Day gives advocates the opportunity to meet with their members of Congress to urge them to oppose funding cuts to affordable housing and homelessness programs, expand resources for these vital programs, advance anti-racist policies, and support legislation that would improve the lives of millions of low-income people. The preparatory webinar, which is designed to help participants plan for Capitol Hill Day, will be held on February 28 from 4 to 5 pm ET and will cover NLIHC’s policy priorities and provide an overview of what to expect when meeting with members of Congress during Hill Day meetings while also featuring Housing Narrative Lab staff. Register for the webinar today, and don’t forget to register for Forum while you’re at it!
